Our sensory excellence is proven by our numerous international beer tasting awards. NISSOS are made in small batches with top quality ingredients and brewing techniques aiming to perfect their scents, colors and flavors! They complement the Greek & Mediterranean Gastronomy exquisitely , satisfying even the most demanding palates.

NISSOS are the first beers in the world to obtain the European AFQ quality certification mark as a result of their very high - as high as red wine - bioactivity, i.e. high concentration of antioxidants. Simply put, they are good for you when consumed responsibly and with moderation.

Their brewing, fermentation and maturation take, at least, one month to be completed. This is one of the many techniques that make NISSOS taste delicious.

NISSOS beers do not undergo any pasteurization or thermal treatment at all, thus helping them retain all their rich flavours, fresh taste, bioactive ingredients and nutritional value. Their long shelf life is guaranteed through alternative, modern techniques such as microfiltration, crowns featuring a special scavenger liner which absorbs oxygen molecules and an almost aseptic filling process. Also they are brewed to maintain a high content of the polyphenols, the powerful antioxidants naturally occurring in barley and hops! NISSOS stay fresh and taste fresh for many months and some become even more flavourful and wonderfully complex with time.

All our beers are bottled in an antimicrobial, protected environment and each batch is subjected to a number of quality tests, including a special molecular detection system test (PCR) to identify potential “beer spoilers”. Nothing gets past our thorough OC process. Our brewery is certified with Food Safety System Certification 22000 (FSSC 22000) the highest, ISO-based, internationally accepted certification scheme for auditing and certification of food safety within the food and beverage manufacturing sector.
